フェアリーテイル 100年クエスト

SPOILER Summary/Synopsis:

The members of Gagarock miners’ guild challenge Natsu. They attack, but Natsu doesn’t respond since he doesn’t want to anger Lucy. However, Natsu sneezes, causing a massive explosion, defeating the miners.

Elsewhere, Erza and Jellal discover that they can use magic within the photo they are imprisoned in. Still elsewhere, Sai stalks Wendy, Gray, and Charle (Carla), where he uses alchemy to exchange them with gems. Then when he’s back at Gold Owl, he’ll reverse the process, meaning the trio will be captured.

At Lucy’s location, the old woman has gassed her and Happy. Once unconscious, the old woman binds them.

At the inn, Natsu gets frustrated that none of the other Fairy Tail members are there. The members of Sabertooth speculate that since they are up against alchemists, the alchemists could have easily overcome even powerful people like Erza and Jellal. Natsu wants to go out and find them, but Sting offers support from Sabertooth.

Thoughts/Review:

Well, Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest Chapter 127 cements the fact that Sabertooth will take the brunt of the fighting alongside Natsu. Of course, Fairy Tail members will either escape or get saved in order to turn the tide of the current fight.

That aside, I admit to chuckling when Natsu sneezed and caused a massive explosion. Having recently reread Negima!, I couldn’t help but remember that series since Negi often had magically powered sneezes.

Finally, I really wish having Jellal in this arc is to actually make progress in his relationship with Erza. Obviously, that’ll never happen ’cause “shounen” (or other such rubbish). As such, the best we can hope for are gag moments where Erza loses her armor to allow them more space, but then she’s naked. Oddly enough, Jellal was the one acting like a schoolboy when this happened while Erza seemed to have done it on purpose.

Final Thoughts and Conclusion

In the end, Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest Chapter 127 continues setting the table for whatever conflict is to come.

  1. Yue Ayase says:

I read the last chapter you reviewed and looking at that picture up there I thought the short-haired girl was Lisanna. I just checked her profile now and the only real difference is that Lisanna has twintails at the back of her hair. And I guess the flower too.

I don’t really have anything else to add here.
